The most exciting time of the year for gamers—the Steam Summer Sale—is finally here! I am thrilled to announce that two games I poured my heart and soul into creating are participating in this year's sale.

⚔️ 1. LuminousStoria: A High-Energy Beat & Classic Sword Action RPG

First up is Luminous Storia, a thrilling action RPG where you slash through monsters to a rhythmic, high-energy soundtrack.

📜 STORY: A young boy named Luck aims to become a legendary hero.

"Do you know the tale of Luminous?" Luck is an ordinary boy living in a remote village. Having heard the legend that "anyone who sees Luminous will be praised by everyone," he takes the village’s treasured sword without permission to prove himself. He heads for the ancient ruins—a dangerous place infested with monsters that the villagers avoid at all costs. Will Luck be able to find Luminous and achieve his dream?

🎮 Developer's Highlights: What makes it fun?

  • Master Three Sword Techniques with Easy Controls While the game features simple, gamepad-friendly controls, I put a lot of effort into making the combat engaging! Players can alternate between a Vertical Slash to strike from above, a Horizontal Slash to sweep enemies away, and a swift Thrust to strike without giving monsters a chance. Finding the right move for each situation feels incredibly satisfying.

  • Classic RPG Exploration and Leveling I packed the game with classic RPG fun, including puzzle elements where you activate switches to open sealed doors, and a progression system where you earn EXP to level up and grow stronger with every monster defeated.

  • A High-Quality Soundtrack to Boost Your Vibe The game features a rhythmic, high-quality soundtrack designed to "beat through the world of swords." Fighting enemies in perfect sync with the music delivers a fantastic sense of exhilaration!

🎹 2. Where the Sky Is: A Relaxing Piano & Creative Flying Action Game

Next up is Where the Sky Is, a stark contrast to the first title. This is a peaceful, ambient flying action game set in a beautiful, serene world of blue, wrapped in a gentle piano melody.

📜 STORY: A young girl named Shuri searches for a god to bring happiness to the world.

"If you meet the King of the Sky, maybe he can tell you something?" Shuri is a young girl of the Sky People who can fly freely through the air. She is on a quest to find Refael, the God of Bounty, who is said to grant eternal blessings to anyone who meets them. Wishing to fill the world with happiness, Shuri follows her sister’s advice and ventures into the "Sky Sanctuary," a place where tempestuous winds howl. Will she be able to meet the King of the Sky?

🎮 Developer's Highlights: What makes it fun?

  • Carve Your Own Path with the "Create" Ability In addition to simple flying and jumping mechanics, Shuri possesses a unique ability to create platforms right in front of her. This allows players to build their own paths where none exist, offering a wonderful sense of freedom as they traverse the sky.

  • An Unbelievable Sky Adventure The game is full of breathtaking, fantasy experiences, such as riding dynamic, howling winds (Scramble Experience) and even landing on the backs of giant, majestic dragons gliding through the clouds.

  • A "Gentle World" with No Game Over Stress For players who worry about falling and losing progress, I designed a forgiving system: if you fall below the clouds, you respawn instantly with no penalty. You can relax, listen to the peaceful piano music, and enjoy the ultimate sky playground at your own pace.

Both of these games were developed with a focus on two things: being easy to play with a gamepad, and offering an experience that completely immerses you in its music and atmosphere.
